 The Eastchester Irish-American Social Club is proud to announce Eastchester's 7th Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade! The parade will take place on Sunday March 13th at 3pm. The 2011 Grand Marshal is Anne Hendry and our 2011 Honoree is Liz Ahern.
Anne Hendry has chosen her brother and sister in law - Joseph & Cathy Sullivan as her aides. An Eastchester resident since 1993, Anne's family hails from counties Galway and Kerry. In 2002, with a handful of students, she started Eastchester's first and only Irish Dance School - The Hendry School of Irish Dance, and today boasts an enrollment in the hundreds.
The Eastchester Irish-American Social Club is a non-profit organization formed in 1966 consisting of men and women of Irish descent living in Eastchester, Tuckahoe, Crestwood, and Bronxville as well as sponsoring Eastchester's Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade and Festival.
We hold our monthly meetings at Mickey Spillane's on Main Street every third Friday at 8pm. Come join us!
