"Hooley on the Hudson" Kingston Irish Festival, Kingston, NY

Sunday (Labor Day weekend), Sept. 1, 11:30 AM to 9PM  Free

Three stages of Irish music: National/International, Local, and Traditional.   Food, Crafts, Cultural Exhibits, Step Dancers, Family Tent including story telling for children.  At the T.R. Gallo waterfront park on the Roundout River. White Plains Irish Festival,  Purchase, NY

Greater Danbury Irish Festival,  Danbury CT

Friday-Sunday, September 20-22, 2019

Live music (numerous bands playing), step dancers, cultural activities and events, a shopping village, children's entertainment, food and beverages all weekend long.

These two longtime friends and fellow actors will sing and reminisce about their careers and  people they have known and worked with. Joining them with some classic Irish airs will be Midhat Serbagi.

Hudson Valley Irish Festival, Riverfront Green, Peekskill, NY

Saturday, Sept. 28, 2019  11AM to 7PM   $10 Donation

(Not an EIASC event but may be of interest to our members.  Sponsored by the Ancient Order of Hibernians, Div. 18, Peekskill.)

Irish Music, Arts, Crafts, Foods and Step Dancers.  Main stage with numerous groups, including The Screaming Orphans (direct from Ireland), plus massed pipe bands. Traditional Music Tent featuring Mary Cortney and Donie Carroll.  Spoken Word Tent featuring Irish American Writers & Artists, Inc.  All at a beautiful park on the Hudson River.  Held annually for the past 11 years.  Proceeds from the festival help support the Hudson Valley Irish Center.

The 15th Annual  Eastchester St. Patrick's Day Parade on Sunday, March 10, 2019 was another wonderful success. Many thanks to all of the sponsors, participants, elected officials, police officers and volunteers who helped make it the grand sucess it was. 

 

Our 2019 Parade Grand Marshal was Pat Murtagh.  Pat is the "Voice of Eastchester Irish", and has provided commentary during parades and other events since joining over 25 years ago.  

 

Our 2019 Parade Honorees were:  Tom Beirne, Gary McCloskey and Gerry McLoughlin.
